Protect your privacy

Keep private details off camera and out of chat.

  • Do not share passwords, payment information or identity documents.
  • Keep your address, workplace, school and live location private.
  • Check what is visible behind you before switching on the camera.
  • Assume the other participant could record anything shown or said.

Warning signs

Leave when you notice these.

  • Asks you to move to another app, social profile or phone number quickly
  • Asks for money, gift cards, crypto, recharges or verification codes
  • Pushes for sexual content, or turns the conversation sexual after you say no
  • Asks where you live, work or study, or tries to confirm your real name
  • Threatens to share a recording or screenshot unless you do something
  • Says they are under 18 — end the chat and report immediately

Is Meetchi safe?

Meetchi is for adults aged 18 and over and gives you Next, Report and Block in every match, published Community Guidelines and a moderation process that uses user reports and automated signals. No platform can guarantee every conversation, so combine these tools with the privacy habits on this page.

How do I report someone on Meetchi?

Use the Report button during the match or on a message, choose the closest reason, then press Next to leave. You can also block the account to stop further contact.

What happens after I report someone?

Reports are reviewed as part of Meetchi’s moderation process. Depending on the issue, action may include restrictions, suspension or removal of an account.

Can the other person record me?

Technically, yes. Recording without consent breaks the rules, but anyone can capture their own screen. Do not show anything you would not want saved.
