1. Acceptance of Terms

   By accessing and using Meetchi (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

   The App is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Google Authentication

   We use Google Authentication to verify the age of our users. By using the App, you consent to the use of Google Authentication for this purpose.

4. User Conduct

   You agree to use the App in accordance with the following rules:

   • No Illegal Activity: You will not engage in any illegal activities or promote illegal activities while using the App.
   • No Harassment or Hate Speech: You will not harass, abuse, or threaten other users, or use hate speech or discriminatory language.
   • No NSFW Content: You will not share or display any explicit content, including nudity, pornography, or other adult material, unless specifically allowed in designated areas of the App.
   • Respect Privacy: You will not share personal information about yourself or others, including names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses.

5. Tokens and Purchases

   We sell Meetchi tokens that allow users to apply filters such as gender and country while matching. Please note:

   • No Refunds: All token purchases are final. We do not provide refunds under any circumstances.
   • No Match Guarantee: Applying filters does not guarantee that you will find a matching user. Matches depend on whether another user with your selected preferences is online at the same time.

6. Gold Subscription and Cancellation

   Meetchi Gold is a recurring subscription unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. Gold features may include premium filters, enhanced matching options, and other paid benefits.

   • No Guaranteed Results: Gold or paid filters do not guarantee that you will receive a match, a reply, or a successful connection. Matching results depend on live availability, user demand, network conditions, moderation decisions, and whether users meeting your selected criteria are online at that moment.
   • Cancellation: Users may manage or cancel their subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal made available in the Meetchi app. If cancellation is completed, renewal will stop according to the billing settings shown by Stripe.
   • Support: If you experience a billing issue or cannot access subscription management, please contact us at info@meetchi.com.

7. Content Monitoring and Reporting

   We provide a reporting system for inappropriate or harmful behavior. Reports are reviewed, and we aim to respond and take action within 24–72 hours. Additionally, we use automated systems to detect NSFW content. By using the App, you consent to such monitoring and detection.

8. Account Deletion

   Users may delete their account at any time. Upon deletion, all session and room ID cookies associated with the user will be removed, and no data will be retained.

9. No Data Storage

   We do not store any personal data such as emails or usernames. The only information we collect includes session and room ID cookies necessary for the App’s functionality.

10. Limitation of Liability

    The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In no event shall the App or its operators be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the App.

11. Changes to Terms

    We may revise these Terms at any time without notice. By using the App, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms.

12. Legal Status

    Meetchi is operated by MEETCHI LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom, and we aim to operate in accordance with applicable laws, online platform regulations, and good faith business practices.

13. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection or mandatory local law.

14. Age Declaration and Responsibility

    Meetchi relies on users’ self-declared age. By using the App, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If a user provides an incorrect age (e.g., under 18), Meetchi shall not be held responsible for any consequences arising from such false declarations. Users are fully responsible for the accuracy of their age information.
